L\u2019h\u00f4pital de Cyth\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 le 25.06.1957, gr\u00e2ce au bienfaiteur cyth\u00e9rien Nikolaos Triffyllis.<\/h1>\n

L\u2019H\u00f4pital a fonctionn\u00e9 en tant que personne morale de droit priv\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 1959, date \u00e0 laquelle il a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au secteur public. En 1989, apr\u00e8s des r\u00e9formes, l\u2019h\u00f4pital a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au Syst\u00e8me national de sant\u00e9 (\u0395\u03a3\u03a5). L\u2019objectif de l\u2019h\u00f4pital est de fournir des services de soins de sant\u00e9 primaires et secondaires aux r\u00e9sidents et aux visiteurs de Cyth\u00e8re et d\u2019Anticyth\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Afin de couvrir de mani\u00e8re permanente les d\u00e9penses de sant\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00eele, Nikolaos Triffylis a r\u00e9dig\u00e9 son testament 10494\/26.6.48, selon lequel il a fait don de tous ses biens pour \u00e9tablir une fondation caritative sous le nom d\u2019H\u00d4PITAL TRIFFYLIO DE CYTHERE, visant \u00e0 construire et exploiter un h\u00f4pital \u00e0 Potamos, village \u00e0 Cyth\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Beaucoup d\u2019autres Cyth\u00e9riens ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette grande initiative avec des dons notables: P. Panaretos, M. Semitekolos, les fr\u00e8res Kassimatis, L. Megalokonomos etc. Le Comit\u00e9 de collecte de fonds, cr\u00e9\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement \u00e0 cet effet, a rapidement achev\u00e9 ses travaux et inaugur\u00e9 l\u2019h\u00f4pital le 21.5.1953 dans le village de Potamos, sur le terrain que P. Panaretos (le neveu de Nikolaos) avait donn\u00e9 pour ce projet.<\/p>\n

Nikolaos Triffylis est mort en mai 1955. Depuis mars 2014, l\u2019H\u00f4pital G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Cyth\u00e8re a emm\u00e9nag\u00e9 dans un nouveau b\u00e2timent moderne de 3.000 m2, sur un terrain de 1400 m2 offert par le Monast\u00e8re de Saint Th\u00e9odoros. La vision de citoyens \u00e9minents, d\u2019\u00e9minents savants, d\u2019intellectuels, de m\u00e9decins et des habitants de Cyth\u00e8re s\u2019est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
