Dans une ancienne \u00e9pave pr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00eele, des arch\u00e9ologues ont trouv\u00e9 la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre statue de l\u2019\u00e9ph\u00e8be d\u2019Anticyth\u00e8re, ainsi que le m\u00e9canisme d\u2019Anticyth\u00e8re, un m\u00e9canisme complexe de navigation qui ressemble \u00e0 un astrolabe. Alors que les fouilles arch\u00e9ologiques se poursuivent sur l\u2019\u00eele, des tr\u00e9sors anciens et byzantins sont constamment d\u00e9couverts. En outre, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ornithologique hell\u00e9nique et l\u2019Observatoire national d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes ont \u00e9tabli leurs centres de recherche sur l\u2019\u00eele.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">L\u2019\u00eele a un h\u00e9liport et des chambres \u00e0 louer. Son patron est Saint Myron, qui est comm\u00e9mor\u00e9 les 16 et 17 ao\u00fbt de chaque ann\u00e9e. L\u2019\u00eele compte 44 habitants, un nombre qui augmente pendant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 en raison des touristes. Un grand groupe arch\u00e9ologique du minist\u00e8re de la Culture (\u00c9phorat des Antiquit\u00e9s) effectue des fouilles tout en guidant les visiteurs vers les sites arch\u00e9ologiques de l\u2019\u00eele. En outre, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ornithologique hell\u00e9nique surveille en permanence les 250 esp\u00e8ces d\u2019oiseaux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9es sur Anticyth\u00e8re et les \u00eelots environnants.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-365 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gnk.gov.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/antikythira-680x365.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"293\" height=\"157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gnk.gov.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/antikythira-680x365.jpg 680w, https:\/\/gnk.gov.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/antikythira-680x365-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 293px) 100vw, 293px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Deux ferries relient Anticyth\u00e8re \u00e0 Cyth\u00e8re (3 fois par semaine), au Pir\u00e9e (une fois par semaine) et en Cr\u00e8te (une fois par semaine). La clinique communautaire est situ\u00e9e au rez-de-chauss\u00e9e d\u2019un b\u00e2timent dans lequel se trouve \u00e9galement une pi\u00e8ce ind\u00e9pendante pour la r\u00e9sidence du m\u00e9decin.
